Medieval City of Merki

An article titled «The Medieval City of Merke» was published in the district newspaper «Merke Tynysy». The article reports that on the initiative of N. Bykybayev, Director of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum «Monuments of Ancient Taraz», a special project was launched to develop a three-year plan for scientific research and archaeological excavations aimed at studying the history of the settlement as a site of national significance (October 6, 2021, No. 78(11015)).
