Silk Road: Route Network of the Chang'an – Tian Shan Corridor

On November 9 of this year, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the second working meeting of representatives from Kazakhstan, China, and Kyrgyzstan was held in Almaty to prepare a joint report on the condition of World Heritage sites under the serial transnational nomination "Silk Road: Chang an — Tian-Shan Corridor Route Network". A comprehensive joint report was prepared on the current state of sites included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List and the measures taken for their protection.

Among these sites are the settlements of Balasagun (Aktobe), Kulan, Ornek, Kostobe, and the palace complex "Akyrtas", which are part of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz". At the end of the meeting, commemorative gifts were presented to foreign guests on behalf of the Kazakh side.
