November 15 – Day of the National Currency Tenge of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Today, November 15, marks the Day of the National Currency Tenge of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of the event held jointly with second-tier banks of Taraz city, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" presented an exhibition of numismatic artifacts found during archaeological excavations at the Ancient Taraz settlement. The event was held at the building of the communal state institution "Public Accord" of the regional governor office, with over 400 attendees. Turkesh, Kokand, Chinese, and Russian coins drew particular attention.
During the event, an intellectual game was organized for students of higher educational institutions of the region.
