The ancient settlement of Aktobe (VI-XIII centuries)
The settlement of Balasagun (Aktobe-Stepninskoye) is located in the Shu district of Zhambyl region, 3 km southeast of the village of Aktobe, on both banks of the Aksu River. The Aktobe Stepninskoye settlement was first mentioned in literature in 1894. V.V.
